Xenon-Light
- Better vision at night
In 1991, Automotive Lighting was the first to introduce
Xenon-Lights in the market. In the meantime it has become
a customized view in the streets. In comparison to conventional
halogen headlamps, the Xenon-System provides 200% more
light - so the road ahead and also the verge are more
effectively and brightly illuminated. The light on the
road is similar to what we see in daylight and so is
adapted to the natural viewing conditions of the eye.
As a result, driving becomes more relaxing and secure.
Xenon-Light
in low beam and high beam applications
In the meantime Xenon-Light is used in both, low beam
and high beam applications. These systems are produced
by standard as Xenon projection systems or Xenon reflection
systems. The systems use either an electromagnetic actuator
to move a shield that switches between low beam and
high beam (principle of projection systems) or a small
movement of the gas-discharge lamp in the reflector
itself produces the switch to high beam (principle or
reflection system).
Xenon
systems offer more:
In order to prevent other road users from being dazzled,
an automatic levelling system is integrated as a standard
in Xenon headlamps. This system adjusts the headlamp
permanently to the different situations of load. Adaptive
lighting systems combine the advantages of Xenon-light
with modern developments for an optimum illumination
of the road in every driving situation. These developments
include static and dynamic curve light and, prospectively,
town and motorway light.
Headlamp washing systems for Xenon headlamps are required
by law. They ensure clean lenses and consistently good
light distribution.
Xenon-Light
- Your contribution to energy saving
Xenon systems provide 200% more light than conventional
halogen headlamps. But they need about one third fewer
power and last longer - nearly a whole vehicle life.
